Washington Wildfire Season 2022 Updates

Washington Wildfire Season continues its streak across the state this August. Some of the most aggressive wildfires in Washington state in August 2022 have included:

  • The Vantage Highway Fire, which started on August 1, has burned more than 30,000 acres.
  • The Cow Canyon Fire, which burned 4,600 acres by August 6.
  • The Williams Lake Fire near Cheney, which started on August 9 and burned 1,600 acres.
