Guardian Security Core Values Highlights of 2023

Guardian Security End of Year Highlights

As a residential and commercial security company serving Washington state since 1976, we at Guardian Security relish every year that we continue to provide service to homes and businesses throughout the region. 2023 has been no exception, with a number of events that gave our staff opportunities to live out the core values of our company. Here are the highlights.

Technical Excellence

We take great pride in mastering the technology we implement. One event that highlighted this commitment was a training we conducted on July 18th. Our Seattle security install team presented new installation standards for Open Eye security products, including smart motion on cameras, as well as people/vehicle detection. Jared and Ryan, our installation experts who led this training, shared how these standards will enhance customer experience with the Open Eye video system.

Open Eye Training

Open Eye is a key partner in the growth of Guardian Security, and it was nice having Jared and Ryan led this training. We are so proud of our Guardian teams, all of whom demonstrated our core value of technical excellence by conducting trainings. In addition to the extensive training which our team has completed, we are proud to announce that we have earned the general radiotelephone operator license (GROL), a license granted by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), in addition to the RSI Factory Certificate.

Safety

You can trust Guardian Security to be your steadfast partner in prioritizing your well-being, and take comfort in knowing that we also prioritize safety in our own company operations. One example from this year is our Safety Geeks Golf Tournament, which our human resources department participated in to demonstrate this core company value. When the HR team made the trip to Mt. Si Golf

This organization awards generous scholarships to dependents of workers who have been seriously injured or lost their lives on-the-job. We are happy to report that the tournament raised $10,5000 to support Washington families. We are honored to work alongside a community organization that is as focused on safety as we are.

Kindness

Our most cherished core value is kindness, and we aimed to exemplify it in 2023 with each of our locations choosing their own holiday charity drive community service projects. Our Seattle location hosted a donation drive for Mary’s Place, an organization that operates five emergency family shelters in King County, where they keep families safely together indoors when they have no place else to go. Our Tacoma branch conducted a donation drive for the Tacoma Rescue Mission, which serves the homeless or hurting with self-sufficiency programs to help lift people from poverty, and break the chains of addiction with support prevention programs. And topping off all this generosity, our Bellingham team donated gifts to the local Holiday Joy program through Interfaith Coalition. Now, 30 Whatcom County children who would normally not receive gifts will have a merrier holiday.
