Building on More Than 75 Years of Keyhole Security History
Keyhole Security’s story began in 1948, when Archie Lodge introduced key cutting services in a small corner of the family’s Wenatchee Cycle & Sporting Goods business.
What started as a modest locksmith operation grew into one of North Central Washington’s established providers of security and life-safety solutions.
In 1978, Ron and Jeanne Lodge purchased the locksmith business and began expanding its services. By 1983, the company had become The Keyhole Security Center, reflecting its evolution into electronic security systems and comprehensive protection solutions.
David Langlois joined the company’s leadership as General Manager in 1997 and later became a minority owner, helping guide continued growth and the move into a remodeled 12,000-square-foot Wenatchee headquarters in 2016.
Over the decades, Keyhole Security built an impressive record of service:
- More than 1,700 safes opened
- Over 4,000 alarm systems installed
- More than 14,000 deadbolt locks installed
- Over 25,000 vehicles opened
- More than 2.1 million keys cut
As of January 1, 2026, Keyhole Security employed 23 team members and operated 16 service vehicles, demonstrating the company’s longstanding investment in local employees and the communities it serves.
