Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. was developed by the insurance industry to
establish national standards of excellence. Our Central Station is UL Listed and
is subject to annual inspections to assure continuing compliance with UL
standards that cover equipment, monitoring, building structure and
staffing issues.
A UL listing assures you that a Central Station is located in a secure, fire-resistant
structure with emergency back-ups for power and computer. Our Central Station
meets and exceeds these standards. The triple redundant Frame Relay / ISDN
network, involves multiple carriers for local and long distance data services
which interconnect the local Seattle Command Center with eight other regional
Command Centers.
